For a number of years I have specialized in the creation, repair and alteration of Highland Dance Apparel, serving the Highland Dance, Scottish and Irish heritage kilted uniformed communities having created and capable of creating bespoke, tailor fitted and Scottish Official Board of Highland Dance compliant:

What's the Process:
It's rather simple, contact me for a fitting consultation, provide your garment with a clear brief for alterations required and adequate timelines and I will provide you an estimate of time and fee.
For new bespoke and tailored garments, I will outline during the initial consultation what materials you will need to provide for the creation of the new garment.
My fee will include my time and associated sundries.
Communication is key throughout this process where a series of fittings may take place before you take receipt of your altered or new SOBHD garment.

Kilts, what I can do for you:
I have repaired and altered Highland Dance as well as 8 Yard Kilts having adjusted the hem, buckles and lining replacement.
What I have not completed to date is altering the growth pleat or having created new kilts; that's to come.
Demand for this work had pushed me to book a flight to Edinburgh in 2020 to complete a kilt making course at the Edinburgh Kilt Making Academy. Unfortunately, COVID-19 struck where I hope to attend the course this coming year if all goes well.
